Trim the wick: Before lighting the candle, make sure to trim the wick to a length of about 1/4 inch. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents the flame from getting too large.

Light the candle: Light the wick at the base of the candle and let it burn for a few seconds until the wax pool forms.

Burn time: Burn the candle for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. This helps prevent the wick from getting too hot and creating a large flame.

Extinguish the candle: Use a snuffer or the lid of the candle to extinguish the flame. Do not blow out the candle, as this can create hot wax splatters.

Maintaining the wick: If the wick starts to mushroom or create a large flame, trim it back to 1/4 inch before relighting the candle. If the wick is too short, it may not burn properly.
